Julie Zuckerberg: Rising Star in the HR Industry

Julie Zuckerberg is a rising star of the human resources industry to watch out for. She is the US Talent Acquisition Executive Recruitment Lead for Deutsche Bank in the Greater New York City area, and she has held this position since April 2014. In this position, she leads the negotiation and development of the managing director level which provides for US wealth and commercial clients, asset management, private, global technology & operations, and infrastructure. She also counsels executive and leadership committees around best recruitment practices and hiring governance to increase engagement and proficiency for attracting diversified and top talent pipelines. Additionally, she creates strategies of bespoke recruitment for the US Business Heads to proactively address potential gaps and attrition in DB internal and external client coverage. Other jobs tasks include the following: Offering strategic coaching and direction to the recruiting teams supporting the hiring for technology & operations, front office, infrastructure, and the director, and managing external contingency and retained search vendor engagement which includes contract governance, business relationships, continual performance assessment, and terms’ negotiation.

Also, she offered full life cycle recruitment, provided development and execution, and talent strategy planning. And she even partnered with senior managers to offer creative business solutions and analyze client needs.



  • Citi, Vice President, Executive Recruiter, NA Professional & Executive Recruitment from October 2007 to November 2013 in the Greater New York City Area- much of her tasks are similar to the two successor jobs. In addition, she gave advice to senior executives on competitive markets, recruiting strategies, compensation trends, and talent. She led the negotiation and development of complex job offers, including claw backs, equity buyouts, relocation, deferred awards, and immigration in collaboration with other human resource areas. She also managed retained search firms, including fee negotiation, firm selection, and candidate vetting.




  • Hudson, Director of Candidate Placement, from November 2002 to October 2007- she recruited paralegals, attorneys, case managers, and support staff for temporary to permanent positions with corporations, law firms, and financial institutions.
