The Leadership of Nitin Khanna

An Indian-born entrepreneur, Nitin Khanna has built an impressive resume during his career. Currently Khanna is the chairman of MergerTech, an international Mergers and acquisitions firm. Nitin Khanna has held a number of leadership positions and has proven he known how to build and sustain a business. He has a unique skill set that has helped him to achieve great things.

Nitin Khanna received both his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Before his work at MergerTech, Khanna co-founded Saber Corporation in the late 1990’s. He would soon take over the leadership of its government business operations for more than a decade. Khanna’s work with Saber was quite impressive. He helped the company to become the largest provider of state government solutions in the late 1990’s. Under Khanna’s leadership the company grew to more than twelve hundred employees and a revenue of more than 120 million dollars in the mid 2000’s. He would eventually go on to sell the company for nearly three times that amount. After he sold the company Khanna took over EDS’ government business operation. Working as a major CEO for MergerTech, Nitin Khanna has been responsible for some major acquisitions. This list includes but is not limited to acquiring ArcTouch by Grey, AppThwack by Amazon Web Services, GlobeSherpa by RideScout and the partnership of Media Labs with MDC Partners. His success has allowed him to be in charge of $100 billion dollars in the recreational and medical cannabis industry. People have recognized the incredible work Khanna has produced. In 2002 he was recognized by being named one of Portland’s Top 40 under 40 civic and entrepreneurial leaders. He continues to be an innovator in his space.
